Where We Work in Southern Maine

Pine Tree Roofing & Exteriors covers three parts of southern Maine: Greater Portland, York County and the Lewiston-Auburn area. That is 34 towns across Cumberland, York, Androscoggin and Sagadahoc counties. Pick yours below to see what we do there.

Greater Portland

Portland's peninsula is brick rowhouses, Victorians on Munjoy Hill and the West End, and multi-family buildings with low-slope roofs tucked between them. Ride out past the city and it turns to capes and colonials in South Portland and Westbrook, shingle-style homes facing the water in Cape Elizabeth and Falmouth, and newer neighborhoods on wooded lots in Gorham, Windham and Gray. The common thread is weather that comes in off Casco Bay and doesn't let up.

York County

From the Piscataqua River at Kittery up the coast to Biddeford and Saco, then inland to Sanford, Buxton and Hollis. The coastal towns bring cottages, summer homes and old sea captains' houses that live with salt spray and wind year-round. Biddeford and Saco have mill-era housing near the Saco River falls, and the inland towns are mostly capes, ranches and farmhouses where the snow sits a little longer.

Lewiston-Auburn

The Twin Cities on either side of the Androscoggin, plus the towns around them. Lewiston and Auburn are full of tenement-style multi-families and older single-family homes from the mill years, many with flat or low-slope roofs. Out in Poland, Turner and Sabattus it's lake camps, farmhouses and rural homes with big barns and long driveways, all getting more snow than the coast does.
