Walk neighborhoods along the York County coast, hang a door hanger on each house, and mark it on your phone. Outdoor work, your own pace, no selling.
What the Job Looks Like
Most people find a roofer when something is already leaking. A door hanger reaches them earlier, while there's still time to plan. Your job is to get those hangers onto front doors, one street at a time.
Get your route
Sign in on your phone and your route is waiting: a map of the neighborhood with every house you're hanging marked on it.
Walk it
Head down each street and hang one of our door hangers on the front door knob. You're not selling anything, and nobody has to answer the door.
Tap the house
Tap each house on the map as you go, hung or skipped. The map works even where the cell signal drops out.
Done for the day
When you finish, your day's count is already in. No paperwork, no tally sheets.
What You Need
- ◆A smartphone with a data plan. The route map runs in your phone's browser; there's nothing to install.
- ◆Comfortable walking a few miles in a day, outdoors, in Maine weather.
- ◆Respect for people's homes. You're the first face of Pine Tree most of these neighbors will see.
Where You'll Walk
Our routes are neighborhoods in York County, near the coast:
Crew Rules
- ◆Hangers go on the door knob only. Never in or on a mailbox: that's federal law.
- ◆Stay on driveways and walkways. Don't cut across lawns or gardens.
- ◆Skip any house with a No Soliciting or No Trespassing sign, and mark it skipped.
- ◆If someone asks you to leave, say thanks and move on.
